Help them to help us and keep yourselves safe from these despicable criminals.: “ There have been 11 residential burglaries within the Cheadle and Bramhall Area, with three being commercial burglaries. Most residential burglaries were recorded in the Cheadle Hulme South area. Streets targeted in Cheadle Hulme South were as follows:

*       22nd October, Taplow Close - Offenders gained entry via rear patio door however the house alarm spooked them and they made off.

*       25th October, Hulme Hall Avenue - Entry gained by torching the rear patio door, items stolen from within and offenders made off.

*       27th October, Hulme Hall Avenue - Burglary again on Hulme Hall Avenue, entered by the same means, however offenders were looking for keys and were unsuccessful in doing so, so made their escape.

*       26th October, Ack Lane West - Entry gained by snapping the lock of a rear door, valuable items stolen from within and offenders made off.

*       1st November, Musbury Avenue - Offenders climb through an open kitchen window, stealing vehicle keys and making off in the owners vehicle.

Residential Burglaries in other areas are as follows:

*       Attempted burglary on the 22nd October, Delfur Road, Bramhall. Offenders attempted to gain entry to the property, however, they were unsuccessful in doing so. There was good CCTV of the incident, including offender descriptions and getaway vehicle details.

*       23rd October - Bramhall lane South, Offenders gained entry from rear of property, cash stolen from within and offenders made off.

*       24th October - Arden Close, Heald Green. Offenders stole a pedal cycle from the garden.

*       28th October - Green Bank Avenue, offender's prised open a kitchen window, stealing vehicle keys then made of in the vehicle.

Unfortunately, we have suffered a spate of Catalytic Converters being stolen recently, specifically in the Heald Green and Gatley area. This is a very hard crime to prove as it's such a quick crime that takes no longer than 2 minutes to steal them. We are actively looking into and monitoring this crime but please can we encourage all members of the public to keep reporting anything suspicious and if you or anyone else has your Catalytic Converter stolen to keep reporting any detail you can, it's important we catch the offenders.
